Attention! Mississippi Anime Invasion Super Con-fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix: Hyperfighting Edition (SC2THRHE) dates are *drumroll*
October 25-26th at the Oxford Convention Center in Oxford, MS!
Do you know what this means?! It means we need ART!! So DESIGN CONTEST TIME! This year has a street fighter theme and our girls Zarame and Hikikomori need outfits!

-Hikikomori does not have a base design and is thus a blank slate! She is an otaku through and through and believes all anime fans should stay at home and enjoy enjoy their anime alone, so she's trying to destroy the con!
Feel free to submit as many designs as you'd like, they can be sketches, colored art, whatever! The contest ends May 16th (that's 2 weeks)! Submit your designs to: maiconstaff@gmail.com

Hey guys, it's that time again! What time? What, you don't know? It's Shio and Kosho New Outfit Contest Time! Shio is a heartless and Kosho must go to a fantasy world to save her (with your help of course) and they need new outfits so all this can happen! (Because that's how magical girls work, right?)
Entering is easy! Simply draw, paint, sketch, model, whatever and outfit and email it to: kamiconstaff@kamicon.net with the subject line: season 7 outfit contest. You can submit as many times as you want!
The prize: a free 3-day pass to Kami-Con Season 7!
Time frame? The last day to enter in is Sunday, April 20th.
The winning outfits will be featured in all Kami-Con Season 7 artwork and will be turned into real life cosplays for the con-girls!
Some helpful guideline:
- Shio’s color scheme is typically red/pink, white, and yellow. (Take note that Shio is a heartless this year, so you can take liberties with her color scheme)
- Kosho’s color scheme is typically purple, black, and blue.
- While the design does not need to prominently display a star or moon, Shio needs to have some sort of star adornment in her hair, and Kosho must have some sort of crescent moon adornment in her hair.
- Outfit designs must be family friendly to PG-13. Nothing too revealing!

We're already preparing for Kami-Con Season 6, and we're starting our yearly DESIGN CONTEST!
How does it work?
Next year will be Kami-Con Season 6: Heartless in Wonderland. As you might be able to infer, it's got a bit of a Kingdom Hearts and Alice in Wonderland feel going for it.
So what we want are designs for Shio and Kosho! Winning designs will be used for Shio and Kosho artwork for Season 6, and also be made into full-fledged cosplays to be worn onstage!
Here are some guidelines to help you out:
- The theme has a Kingdom Hearts / Alice in Wonderland feel, so designs leaning towards these themes are more likely to be chosen!
- Shio's color scheme is typically red/pink, white, and yellow.
- Kosho's color scheme is typically purple, black, and blue.
- While the design does not need to prominently display a star or moon, Shio needs to have some sort of star adornment in her hair, and Kosho must have some sort of crescent moon adornment in her hair.

The theme this year is Shio & Kosho vs The World, and you know what that means– it's a fighting theme!
Yes, Shio and Kosho have a lot of obstacles standing in their way of World Conquest, and what better way to overcome adversity than by punching it in the face? So, the congirls need some super-cool fighting outfits to kick butt in! And we want YOU to design them!
How do you enter?
That's easy! Just design outfits for them! This can be anything as simple as a rough sketch to a fully-colored masterpiece. You can design for one girl, or both! AND, you can enter as many times as you want!
The winning designs will be made into full-fledged cosplays for the girls onstage at the con, and will be featured on all official artwork! And of course, the designs will be credited to you.
There are a few guidelines to follow, though!
- Shio and Kosho need their signature Star and Moon hairpieces somewhere in their hair
- While not a necessity, Shio's colors are typically white/pink/yellow, and Kosho's are usually black/purple/blue.
